How To Apply Decals
What you will need before you start: Scissors, soft cloth, a drop of washing up liquid and either a large tub or a spray atomiser to hold about a pint of water. Cut out the decals as required. They have the correct spacing so no need to cut into individual letters. Fill the atomiser or half fill the tub with water and add a drop or two of the washing up liquid. |
Thoroughly clean the paint
work to remove any polish, dust, etc.
Remove the bottom layer of
paper from the decal as shown.
Either dip the decal into the
soapy water or spray the sticky side with soapy water from the atomiser.
Carefully apply the decal to
your cleaned frame. The soapy water will allow it to slide into the
correct position.

Using the soft cloth press
firmly to remove excess water and any air bubbles. This will also help
the decal to adhere.

Wait 5 minutes then peel back
the paper as shown. Do this slowly to ensure the decal does not lift.

Finally use the soft cloth to
dry the decal and ensure it is properly adhered.
